These are my favourite variety of roses as they have such a vibrant presence in the garden. As an embroidery, the petals are silky and like velvet but also the nuances of red are emphasised by the contrast of the white heart and the yellow stamens.
The whole piece shimmers with its delicate golden background.

The artwork sits in a white acid free card mount to measure 30x30cm and framed in red wood. Ready to hang.
